The Grounded journey

How it works

Twelve weeks that start the day you join: six learning the Grounded:42 foundations, six being coached through applying them to your own life. Then you decide how you keep going.

Your weeks 1–6 — learn → your weeks 7–12 — apply with coaching → go solo or continue with coaching.

Your 12 weeks

How your journey is structured

Your weeks 1–6

01

Grounded Structure

Learn the foundations. Build the skills. Create momentum.

The full six-week Grounded:42 foundation. The six core themes, your minimum standards and the principles that make change last — starting the week you join.

Your weeks 7–12

02

Coaching

Take what you've learned and make it fit your life.

Six weeks of coaching: personalised guidance, accountability, problem solving and support applying the Grounded principles to your real week.

Your first 6 weeks teach you the tools. Your next 6 weeks help you put them into practice. Both start from the day you join.

Week by week

What each week actually asks of you

Six themes, one at a time, starting the week you join — so nothing lands on top of everything else.

Week 1

01

Foundations

  • Build your routine.
  • Nail the basics.
  • The first evidence lands fast.

Week 2

02

Minimum Standards

  • Start keeping promises to yourself.
  • Define your non-negotiables.
  • Consistency over motivation.

Week 3

03

Consistency

  • Life keeps happening.
  • Stay in control when the week doesn't cooperate.
  • Progress over perfection.

Week 4

04

Refocus & Recharge

  • Reset.
  • Adjust.
  • Keep moving.
  • Prove it holds when motivation dips.

Week 5

05

Confidence Through Action

  • Raise your standards.
  • Read back your evidence.
  • Trust yourself again.

Week 6

06

Finish Strong

  • Lock in the habits.
  • Own the work you've done.
  • Leave with a blueprint and your fire back.

The goal

Twelve weeks of evidence

This isn't about willpower, and it isn't another diet. It's about stacking enough proof that the story you tell yourself changes.

Step 01

Maybe I can do this.

The first week or two. You show up before you believe it.

Step 02

I can do this.

The evidence stacks up and the doubt gets quieter.

Step 03

I'm becoming someone who does.

It stops being something you're trying and starts being who you are.

No banned foods. No punishment for a bad week. Just targets you can hit on a real Tuesday, and a system that survives the weeks that don't go to plan.

After your 12 weeks

Two paths from here

You don't start over. You either carry it yourself, or you keep a coach in your corner. Whichever you choose, you stay in the Grounded community — it doesn't end when your weeks do.

Path 01

Go solo

Take everything you've learned and keep applying the Grounded principles yourself, with lifetime access to the Grounded community behind you.

Path 02

Continue with coaching

If you value having a coach in your corner, carry on as a coaching client with support built around your life. Entirely your call — never a requirement.

The community

Your 12 weeks are personal. The community never resets.

From day one you're in the Grounded community alongside people who joined yesterday, people mid-way through their structure weeks, people being coached, and people who finished their 12 weeks months ago. Nobody waits for a group to form, and nobody gets moved out at the end. It doesn't expire, and there's nothing to renew.

You don't graduate from Grounded. You become part of it.

Andy, founder of Grounded:42

From me

You don't graduate from Grounded. You become part of it.

Twelve weeks from now you'll have a blueprint that works — but more than that, you'll know you're not doing this alone.

Some people take the blueprint and run with it. Some people stay in coaching. There's no wrong choice, and there's no pressure either way. The community doesn't close when your 12 weeks do — and it was here before you started.

If you're not sure which path is right for you, just message me. I'd rather you asked than guessed.

— Andy
